Firm History & Philosophy

Schwartz & Schwartz emerged in 2003, when the father/son team of Michael and Kevin Schwartz joined forces to create a highly specialized litigation firm intent on furthering the mission first begun by Michael nearly a decade earlier. As one of the pioneers of financial elder abuse litigation, Michael broke new ground in the mid-1990s by aggressively pursuing fiduciaries, caregivers, family members and others for their wrongful, often unfathomable misconduct.

We offer a powerful blend of experience and enthusiasm, along with unparalleled levels of creativity, commitment, compassion and client service. Those attributes allow us to advocate at the highest level, routinely obtaining the best possible results for our clients.

When appropriate, we also leverage our firm’s resources by working with other (larger) firms as co-counsel, providing our specialized insight and expertise in matters throughout California.
